The cost....of the made to measure
service I provide is negotiated in consultation with
each individual client, and often depends upon the
design, style and fabric. A quotation will be
provided at the initial consultation. The price will include...drafting
the pattern to fit the figure, the making, plus one
or two fittings to perfect details.........Fabrics
and trimmings are additional and fabric swatches
can be provided for perusal if necessary.
The first
step is to choose a design, either by providing a
picture or giving a brief description of the desired
garment and any features to be incorporated into the
style. A drawing, photograph or even an existing
garment may serve as an inspiration. Once the
design idea has been sketched, I will then take all
necessary measurements to draft the pattern. A couple
of fittings will be needed to perfect all the
requirements. The individual style will be made just
for you.
