I
opened my business in ( 1979 ) after completing college. Together with
previous experience in the fashion trade and art school. I started
selling a small collection of my designs I made during and after college.
The
need for more stock became apparent and I was introduced into buying from
the well known fashion houses in London and the Harrogate fashion fair.
I was trained
at the Loughborough College of Art and Design
in
the county of Leicestershire (1975 ) and qualified with a "Certificate
in Design for Dress with Allied Crafts"
( with distinction
)
in-conjunction
with, The University of Nottingham
for the award
of a "Certificate in Adult Teaching"
I was also
trained at the Plymouth College of Art and
Design
in the county
of Devon and qualified with a
"Diploma in
Fashion Design"
( with distinction
).
holding
a 'City and Guilds' in Dressmaking, and
certificates in artistict pursuits, i.e.Painting, Drawing e.t.c.
